Jerry French Steelhead Fly Tying Class

We are excited to welcome Jerry French to the Confluence Fly Shop for an evening of tying shank-style steelhead flies.  In the steelhead spey community, Jerry has been at the forefront of modern Skagit casting and intruder fly design.

In this class, Jerry will guide you through tying some of his favorite patterns for Northwest steelhead.  He'll demonstrating the composite loop technique and "how to build a better mousetrap" for searching out big, bright and aggressive wild steelhead this winter season.

This is an intermediate level tying class.

You'll need to bring the following:

• Vise
• Bobbin/thread
• Scissors
• Dubbing spinner
• Whip finisher (optional)

All tying materials will be provided.  Space is limited so sign up fast!
