OPST Commando Heads

These short Skagit heads designed by Ed Ward are a marvel on short spey, switch and single hand rods and can be spey cast with one or both hands.  We use them a lot in our salmon and steelhead fishing, but also fishing trout streamers on lighter rods as the concentrated mass in the head with turn over larger flies much more efficiently than a conventional tapered fly line will.

These are absolutely indispensable lines for the rivers we fish.
